Current Clinical Approaches to the Treatment of Major Covid-19 Pandemic & the Effectiveness of Immunoboosters and Safety Precautions as Methods of Prevention.

Virmani Mayank, Kaur Mandeep

COVID-19 is declared as a major pandemic with 302,460 deaths and 1,697,934 people have recovered, as of March 13th, 2020. Various clinical trials are being conducted on antiviral drugs- i.e. resemdivir, anti-parasitic drugs-i.e. ivermectin, plasma therapy, and many more. However, there are no accurate or desired outcomes achieved till now. Some drugs pass in-vitro studies and some pass all clinical trials but they also have to lead to Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR’S) or complications. No particular approved treatment or vaccines to treat COVID -19 have been implemented for a full recovery. So, precautionary measures are vital as a method to protect you from this disease that has been showing an increasing number of cases day by day. Natural immune boosters are also helpful as a protective barrier to fight against COVID-19. Social distancing and proper hand hygiene and sanitation are also important safety measures during this pandemic.
